Sabrina’s Story
On July 29, 2022 Sabrina Glazier’s life was irrevocably changed when she sustained a severe spinal injury while warming up a young horse at home. It is now 2023 and instead of heading to Texas to study Pre-Vet at South Plains College and rodeo on scholarships, after 10 months in the Foothills Hospital, Sabrina is home and trying to come to grips with her new reality. Immediately after the accident doctors were forced to perform a spinal fusion surgery on Sabrina. Since then, Sabrina has remained in a back brace. There is still a long road to recovery and an undetermined outcome. Sabrina’s family describes her mindset as brave, grateful and faithful. Sabrina is determined and hopes to beat the odds to fulfill her dreams. The financial burden associated with this recovery is daunting.
